The Auckland Company, Morrin and Co., issued three different varieties of trade tokens. The company's period of activity is not known, but as Auckland Numismatist H.A. Robinson said, 'Apparently John Morrin did not remain in business very long as in later life he was the Auckland representative of Arthur Heather, merchant, Customs Street.' (Robinson, 1974)
