The bathroom is one of 21 rooms in the dolls' house Pendle Hall. It was designed and decorated by Felicity Clemons over a forty year period, and each piece of furniture and fixture was handmade by her. She used books and magazines for inspiration, and to achieve a high level of accuracy in the design and execution of each item.

It is a small room on the first floor of the house, above the withdrawing room, which was used for bathing in a time before there was plumbing available in the house. This bathroom would have been for household's family and guests to use.

In one corner sits a freestanding white bathtub, next to which are two large ewers used to fill it. Next to these is a wooden commode; while on the other side of the room is a small wooden table. A bright red woven rug sits in front of the open fire place; the perfect warm place to dry off after bathing.

Three framed prints hang on the wall, and a metal and glass lantern hangs from the ceiling, which is heavily decorated with moulded plaster work. The floor is a wooden parquetry design, and the walls are decorated with square dark wooden panelling. At the back of the room is a long rectangular window, and on the left hand side of the room is a door through to the library.
