The blue bedroom is one of 21 rooms in the dolls' house Pendle Hall. It was designed and decorated by Felicity Clemons over a forty year period, and each piece of furniture and fixture was handmade by her. She used books and magazines for inspiration, and to achieve a high level of accuracy in the design and execution of each item.

It is a large room on the second floor of the house, directly above the library. It is so called because of its richly decorated blue furniture.

On the left hand wall is a blue velvet covered commode with a hinged lid. Next to this is a wooden dressing table, painted blue with a gold chinese design. In front of it is a wooden blue painted stool, upholstered with blue fabric. On top of the dressing table is a wooden blue painted swivelling mirror, on a turned wooden support, and a metal goblet.

On the back wall are two semi circular wooden bedside tables, both painted blue with gold decorations. Each holds a candlestick on top. They stand on either side of a large wooden four poster bed, with turned posts and an elaborate arched bedhead. The wooden parts are painted blue with a gold design. The bed has a mattress and a teal bedspread.

On the right hand wall is a large wooden free standing wardrobe, painted blue with a gold chinese design. It has four doors and five drawers at the front. There is also a wooden chair, painted blue and gold and upholstered in teal fabric.

In the back left corner is an angled open fire place, containing fire wood, which is surrounded an elaborately carved mantelpiece and an overmantel, which contains an arched shaped mirror. On either end of themantelpiece is a metal goblet. In front of the fireplace is a rectangular sheepskin rug.

On the left hand wall, above the dressing table, is a large rectangular sash window, which has no curtains. On the right hand wall are two doors; one which goes into the bathroom, and one which goes into the small hallway. The walls and ceiling are painted cream with gold designs, and are decorated with moulded panelling. The floor is covered with an intricately decorated parquetry.

In the room are two female maid servants in uniform. One is dusting the dress table, while the other one is kneeling in front of the fire place.
