Photograph of Ushuaia taken on May 8th, 1929. The photographer, Australian Anthropologist Sir Walter Baldwin Spencer stayed at the Hotel Freire whilst securing passports to enter into Chile for what became his last expedition. He died on Hoste Island only a few months after this was taken. [Duplicate at XP 8503]
