Photograph of Ushuaia taken on May 8th, 1929. The photographer, Australian Anthropologist Sir Walter Baldwin Spencer stayed at the Hotel Freire whilst securing passports to enter into Chile for what became his last expedition. He died only a few months after this was taken, on Hoste Island. [Duplicate at XP 8595]
