Summary
The first sketch which showed the shape that the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton would take. Drawn on a white A4 sheet of paper, this drawing shows 10 relatively similar possible shapes for the baton, but two of them have ticks next to them. One of these, in the lower right corner of the page, most closely matches the eventual shape of the Baton. In conversation with Charlwood Design personnel, this drawing was identified as the first record that they had of representing the shape of the final Queen's Baton.
