Tiger snake antivenom in cardboard box. Possibly part of Snake Bite Treatment Kit (cardboard display board with objects mounted for display) - 1953 display board. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, (CSL) Ltd, Parkville, Victoria.

In 1930 CSL and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute developed the first antivenom for tiger snake bits.

Dark grey/green liquid in glass ampoule. Sheet of paper inside box with instuctions for use. Yellow cardboard box with black printing.
