Summary

This badge, alternatively known as a button, was produced to protest against the Howard Government's Industrial Relations law package,'Workchoices', which came into effect in 2006. The ACTU (Australian Council of Trade Unions) initiated the campaign 'Your Rights at Work' in response to the new laws. It was argued that the laws favoured employers to the detriment of employees. This badge was collected by the donor during the National Day of Community Protest, 15 November 2005.
