Summary
Single person electric cage lift. Use to transport Station workers down to the pumping wells. The lift was designed and built on site by MMBW staff during the 1920s at the time that electric pumps and equipment were replacing the original steam driven machinery at the Station. It is located in the No 4 Pumping Well, South Engine Room. Starter control is made by Australian General Electric Co. Ltd (AGE).
