Officer's full dress tunic, which was worn by Major Robert McKeeman Oakley, an officer in the Victorian Artillery Garrison from 1892-1901, and in the Australian Garrison Artillery from 1901. There are no identifying maker's marks.
The cuff decoration indicates the rank of Major, which means this Tunic dates from after 1904 when Robert Oakley was promoted to that rank.
