Black and white photograph which is part of a large photographic collection of glass plate and film negatives, photographic prints and photo albums, relating to the development of the electric power supply industry in Victoria, operated by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV) from 1919 to 1993 and various predecessor private and municipal power supply enterprises dating back to the late 1880s.

K.L.M. Royal Dutch Airline DC-2 aeroplane showing a group of men pulling the aircraft from a hangar. Buildings at Laverton RAAF Base are pictured in the background. This KLM DC-2 named 'Uiver' (Stork) aeroplane competed in the 1934 MacRobertson Melbourne Centenary Air Race from England to Australia. It came second in the speed section of the race and won the handicap section.
