Ron Bowles adjusting Main Clock frequency; Herald-Sun photo 15 June 1956. TThe frequency of the oscillator could be manually adjusted to the centre of a set range by the maintenance engineers by adjusting the main oscillator control whilst observing the timing relationships on an oscilloscope.
