Summary

Black and white photograph showing Les Bonney's friends and family at his home-coming after service in World War I, in July 1919. According to his family, Les had joined the War from the Tally Ho Boys Home in Kew. The Home released him into service. He was part of the 32477 Infantry Battalion - 9 to 12 Reinforcements and arrived back in Melbourne after the war on 5 July 1919. His home-coming was hosted by his aunt and uncle in Brunswick.
