Part of the Francis Collection of pre-cinematic apparatus and ephemera, acquired by the Australian and Victorian Governments in 1975. David Francis was the curator of the National Film and Sound Archive of the British Film Institute as well as being a co-founder of the Museum of the Moving Image in London, which was operational between 1988 and 1999.

Description of Content

Lantern slide showing a man (probably) being blindfolded by a woman. She has long blond hair and wears Arabic-style clothing; he wears a short tunic with bare legs, sandals and striped turban. The scene appears to be a dressing room, with other shoes and clothes scattered around.

Lantern slide featuring a colour image printed on glass with pink paper edging. A second piece of glass is attached to protect the printed image.
