Summary
Sticker printed in black and red on white stock encouraging preservation of the trees that sustain koalas.
This sticker was in circulation for approximately 20 years. The phrase was coined in 1994 by Dick Mark, the professional photographer during an early campaign for the Australian Koala Foundation. Mr Mark is the creative director of the organisation in a voluntary capacity. Whilst the slogan has nothing to do with David Tree or 'Tree' (as he is known widely) who found Sam the koala, the organisation did invite him to come to Brisbane and launch 'Save the koala month' in September 2009.
