Summary

Toy arrow thrower or gun, constructed from a reed. It was made by a boy from the Ikenwen village, Morocco, in 2006.

It is part of a group of traditional toys collected in the Anti-Atlas area of Morocco by Belgium Socio-cultural Anthropologist Jean-Pierre Rossie, during the period 2005-2011.

Physical Description

Toy arrow thrower, constructed from a main reed body, within which a smaller stick slides. A loop of elsatic at one end, secured with a metal band, would be used for propelling.
