Summary
Booklet outlining the Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd Staff Superannuation Fund, arranged with the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia Limited, Incorporated in Victoria, as amended 1 January 1974.
The Fund was set up to provide a pension at retirement age and other benefits for employees, including provision for those who died or were totally and permanently disabled while in the employ of Kodak. The booklet sets out the membership details, contributions required, and benefits.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
This booklet was donated by a former Kodak employee, several years after the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
