Scrapbook compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 300 archival items produced between 1972-1976.

The contents include promotional leaflets for Kodak medical and dental industrial radiography products. The products and subjects include X-ray, medical and dental scanners and processors. Medical journals included in the scrapbook are: Medical Journal of Australia, Journal Royal Childrens' Hospital, Australian Dental Journal and National Hospital & Health Care amongst others. The promotional materials are mainly full page, and are typically 205 mm x 275 mm in size.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Black bound rectangular scrapbook with yellow label. Contains 108 brown paper pages with black and white glossy magazine and journal clippings. Includes hand written and typed annotations identifying the original source. A number of pages between pages numbered 72 and 73 have been cut out. Page one contains a typed and hand written index of publications represented in the scrapbook.
