Summary
Dog figure made with natural clay and then fired. It was made by a 13 year old girl from the Lahfart village, Sidi Ifni Province, in June, 2008.
It is part of a group of traditional toys collected in the Anti-Atlas area of Morocco by Belgium Socio-cultural Anthropologist Jean-Pierre Rossie, during the period 2005-2011.
Physical Description
Dog figure made from fired terracotta. It is crudely formed, with short legs and tail. Its eyes, nose and mouth are formed from impressions in the clay. One of its ears is shorter - possibly missing.
