Summary

Male figure made with natural clay and then fired. The doll was made by a 15 year old girl from the Lahfart village, Sidi Ifni Provnce, in June, 2008.

It is part of a group of traditional toys collected in the Anti-Atlas area of Morocco by Belgium Socio-cultural Anthropologist Jean-Pierre Rossie, during the period 2005-2011.

Physical Description

Human figure made from fired terracotta. It is crudely formed, with short legs and arms, and impressions in head for eyes, nose and mouth. Its proper left arm has broken off and is missing.
