Toy cooking pot with lid, constructed from natural clay and then fired. It was made by a 15 year old girl from the Lahfart village, Sidi Ifni Province, in 2008.
It is part of a group of traditional toys collected in the Anti-Atlas area of Morocco by Belgium Socio-cultural Anthropologist Jean-Pierre Rossie, during the period 2005-2011.
Physical Description
Toy cooking pot with lid, roughly from natural clay and then fired. It comprises a circular main body; the separate lid has a small dome for a handle at its centre.
