Wedding invitation card printed for the marriage of Daisy Keegan and James Smith, and addressed to Mr and Mrs W Kiffing Junior.
Daisy and James were married at the Church of England, Glenlyon Road in Brunswick, at 3 pm on Wednesday 19 June 1912. Their reception was to be held at 6 pm at Barkly Hall, Barkly Street Brunswick. The invitation was sent out by the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Charlie Keegan, of 1 Frederick Street Brunswick.
In January 1911, James and Daisy were part of a camping party to Riddells Creek with Daisy's family and the Philips family, captured in the photograph albums HT 33717 and HT 33720.
Physical Description
Cream card with silver print and decoration. The front of the card, which is in the shape of a heart, with half of the heart on each side of the card, features bells and leaves on a garland, and opens up to reveal the invitation details inside.
