Wedding invitation card printed for the marriage of Mabel Keegan and Bertie H Boase.
Mabel and Bertie were married at the Methodist Church, Sydney Road in Brunswick, at 3 pm on Wednesday 16 August 1911. Their reception was to be held at 8 pm at the Oddfellows' Hall, Sydney Road, Brunswick. The invitation was sent out by the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Charlie Keegan, of 1 Frederick Street, West Brunswick. A breakfast was to be held at the bride's parents house at 5 o'clock.
In January 1911, Mabel was part of a camping party to Riddells Creek with Mabel's family and the Philips family, captured in the photograph albums HT 33717 and HT 33720.
Physical Description
Cream card with silver print and decoration. The front of the card, which is in the shape of a leaf, with half of the leaf on each side of the card, features the initials of the bride on the left and those of the groom on the right, and opens up to reveal the invitation details inside.
