The newspaper source and date have either been typed onto the individual clippings or typed onto a separate page as a list and taped into the book.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Physical Description

Large paper rectangular scrapbook with 104 paper pages and cover, bound with cardboard and five metal staples, containing press advertisements. All newspaper clippings are in black and white on newspaper. Typed lists of sources for each separate advertising campaign are attached. Dates are written in blue pen at the top of each page. All clippings are attached with glue or sticky tape. Several clippings and typed indexes are loose in the scrapbook. Several pages in the scrapbook have been left empty. The promotional materials range in size from 45mm (W) x 55mm (H) to 216mm (W) x 398mm (H).
