Summary
Copy of a medal of Tiziano Vecelli (Titian). The original medal, by Pastorino de' Pasterini, was made in about 1545. This Electrotype copy made circa 1881 by Robert Ready. The original cast lead medal was acquired by the British Museum in the collection of King George III (Reg: G3,IP.1070). It was exhibited in the King's Gallery in 1881 and is No. 146 in the catalogue of that exhibition.
