Cash book recording salary payments made to Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd Sydney Head Office staff from December 1937 to June 1945. The handwriting matches that of Mr J E Page (Joseph Ernest Page otherwise known as Ernie).

One page includes a loose letter from Anna Rouse writing in December 1939 about receiving 6 months of her husband JJ Rouse's salary after had died.

This document is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

A green ledger with red, taped spine and white label on the front cover. Entries are handwritten in ink and pencil. One page includes a loose typed letter signed as from Anna Rouse, dated December 1939 and stamped as 'cheque drawn' along with other stamped and handwritten annnotations.
