Scrapbook compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd between 1950 and 1962.

The contents include labels for Kodak papers, plates and safelights. The label on the front cover attributes these labels to Rochester products.The labels are organised by product type as follows: Colour Process Paper, Enlarging Paper, Photomechanical Paper, Contact Printing Paper, Films, Lights. The labels are glued into each page.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Large cardboard covered binder with two screws and brown tape along the spine. An orange label taped to the front cover contains the typed title. Glossy paper labels are glued to both sides of most pages.
