Summary

An instructional, reference booklet titled 'The Memory Jogger: A Pocket Guide for Continuous Improvement', produced by Eastman Kodak Company and distributed by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd as part of their Quality Program - an incentives based management program aimed at efficiency and quality control across the organisation.

Kodak Australasia was an ethusiastic participant in the Australian Quality Awards and this object was part of Kodak's efforts to infuse the concept of 'Quality' in everything they did in their work life by giving them useful hints for workflow. It was used by former Kodak employee Steve Brain, who worked as a production engineer for Kodak for 25 years.

This object was donated as part of the Kodak Oral History Project. It complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
