Summary

A poster featuring 8 photographs plus three photographic cuttings of the Kodak Australasia St Paul's Terrace warehouse in Brisbane, viewed from both St Paul's Terrace and Kennigo Street. Each photograph has a typed caption glued on or beneath it. The photographs are primarily street scenes and side views of the buildings, with some cuttings taken from other photographs showing the detail of signage.

This poster is one of nineteen handmade posters featuring street views and close ups of signage at different Kodak Australasia retail outlets and warehouses around Australia, including Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Perth, Brisbane, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This poster is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
