Summary
Booklet written and illustrated by former Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd employee Cyril Edwards. The booklet, titled 'Ratty Rhymes about Rummy Rascals' by 'Rufus the Rude' has approximately 18 pages of hand drawn cartoons and handwritten text in rhyme about various Kodak employees and incidents. According to an inscription on the back cover, this was presented at the Kodak Foremen's Social Night, probably as a projection show.
This belonged to former Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd employee and manager Ian (Charlie) Yelland, who worked for Kodak Australasia Emulsion Department for 46 years, retiring in 1978.
This document complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
