Summary

Black and white silver gelatin photograph of Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd staff at the Burnley factory, Richmond, celebrating at a Christmas party in 1966. Marie de Camara (nee McKinley) is second from the right in the group at the forefront of the image. A man is kissing the neck of the older woman beside Marie, and behind them several men are drinking and laughing. There are handwritten signs in multiple languages on the wall behind them saying Merry Christmas.

Marie worked for Kodak for 35 years in total, commencing at Abbotsford, moving to Burnley and then finishing up at Coburg. She spent the majority of her working life at Burnley, and here we see the staff at a lively party there, enjoying social time together.

This document complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
