The woman at left also appears in photographs MM 138587 and MM 138579. She is a friend of Marie De Camara nee McKinley, who donated this photograph and the other two that she features in.
This image appears to be taken outside the factory building on the south side of Southampton Crescent, but the location also resembles the Plate Building.
This photograph complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

The woman on the right has her hair tied in a scarf or kerchief, and she wears a lighter dress and dark jacket, with her hands placed on her hips.

This image appears to be taken outside the factory building on the south side of Southampton Crescent, but the location also resembles the Plate Building, according to research done by curator Fiona Kinsey. -
