Summary
Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd employee Marie McKinley (later de Camara) sitting with two other women on a grassy slope, likely the Yarra River banks that were located on the grounds of the Kodak factory, in Abbotsford, circa 1946-1950.
Marie, on the far left, worked for Kodak for 35 years in total. She commenced at Abbotsford, moved to Burnley where she spent the majority of her working life in the Powder & Solution Department, and then finished up at the Photochemical Department at Coburg.
Marie is pictured here in the early days of her employment with colleagues. The woman at far right is a colleague of Marie's and also appears in another photo with her, see MM 138579 as well as separately in MM 138578.
This photograph complements the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
