Opened packet of Kodak Sensitized Paper, 'Kodak Bromide Cream Fine Grain', 20 sheets, 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches, manufactured by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd, Melbourne, circa 1940s. Product code 2B5Z to indicate it is Double Weight Medium paper.
It is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
Rectangular brown paper envelope with blue printed text, torn open to reveal a black paper envelope with paper sheets wrapped in wax paper inside. There is also a cardboard sheet in the envelope for support. Kodak Museum sticker on back.
