Summary

Sealed box of Kodak Photographic Paper, 'Bromide Single Weight F.2', 100 white glossy smooth sheets for negatives of normal contrast, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, manufactured by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd, Abbotsford, Melbourne, circa 1940s.

This object is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Rectangular brown cardboard box with black and red printed text and printed yellow sticker label with product specifics. Kodak Museum sticker on back. There are semi-circular, embossed, paper-covered tabs on either side of the lid for lid removal.
