Summary

Kodak Film Wallet, circa 1930s, featuring an image of a young woman taking a photograph with a Kodak camera on the cover, and the slogan 'On Holidays and every day'. The paper envelope is stitched together at the top and bottom and has two small side pockets printed with promotional information for Kodak enlargements and film.

This object is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Paper folder or envelope printed in red and brown ink, with two internal side pockets stitched together across top and bottom edges. Handwritten inscriptions on front cover.
