Small blue, white, and brown Kodak Film Wallet, manufactured by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd circa 1930 to 1950, It features the slogan 'Photo-Finishing of Quality' - Pictures to be treasured!'. The paper envelope has two small internal side pockets printed with promotional information for Kodak enlargements and flasholders.

This object is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Paper folder or envelope printed in blue, white and brown ink, with two internal side pockets printed with text. Cover features an illustration of a photographic flashbulb cord connecting the text to an illustration of a photo album, to an illustration of two film boxes.
