Summary
Postcard featuring photograph of four men standing casually in front of a wooden cottage, written by William Nairn to his sister Sarah Jackson on 7 May 1910. He mentions hearing about a job fencing in a 'National Park', which he probably won't take, and going to a 'football meeting'.
William Nairn later served in World War I and was killed in the trenches of France in July 1918.
The same house is depicted in HT 42774.
