Summary

Postcard featuring photograph of five people in front of a cottage. The two central figures standing are Arthur and Sarah Jackson. The photograph was probably taken shortly after their marriage in 1911. The seated man is William Nairn, later to serve in World War I. He was killed in action in July 1918.

The same house is depicted in HT 42771.

Physical Description

Postcard featuring photograph of four people - two women and two men - standing casually in front of a wooden cottage with tin roof. Another man is seated in front of them. A garden path lined with bushes ends at the front door of the cottage. The photograph is smaller than the postcard. On back is a printed postcard proforma, over-written with a brief hand-written message. The postcard has several spots of foxing and discolouration.
