Negative portrait of Mr F. Williames of Hill End (Gippsland). The photograph of Williames was taken in France, immediately following World War I, circa 1918.
Mr Williames was an early property owner at Hill End, developing a flourishing dairy farm there and later others near Moe. During the 1920s he joined his nephew Mr G. A. Williames in a Warragul based venture produing the 'Williames Wildcat' light tractor.
