Colour poster showcasing some of the entries into the nationwide Young Shots of Australia Photography Project, 1984. The project was sponsored by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd, who also produced the poster, and the National Australia Day Council (N.A.D.C.). Bob Hawke, the then Prime Minister of Australia, wrote a brief endorsement that is included on the poster.

The N.A.D.C. asked students to take photographs to answer the question 'How do we see our country?' and it is believed this poster was released around Australia Day (26th of January) 1984.

This object is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
