Summary

One of a series of photographs taken by Museums Victoria staff photographer Jon Augier as part of a project to document the experiences of Victorians during the COVID-19 pandemic. Exercise was one of the reasons people were allowed out of their homes throughout the pandemic and this image illustrates the simple and widespread public health messaging used encourage Victorians to practice social distancing to help flatten the COVID-19 curve. Located on the side of a walking path the simple laminated sign reminds people to practice social distancing, wash their hands, not to meet in groups and to use their own water bottles.
