Summary
'How Dare You Presume I'm Heterosexual' badge, alternatively known as a button, made by Patrick Brothers. The slogan was used by the gay community in the 1980s and 1990s.
This badge is part of a Museum Victoria collection documenting the material culture of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer communities in Victoria (GLBT). In 2005 Museum Victoria joined with the Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives and the State Library of Victoria to conduct a survey of GLBT material culture in public and private collections in Victoria.
