Summary
Invitation to the Hungarian Film Club showing of Cafe Moszkva, used by Julius Toth in 1959. Julius immigrated to Australia in 1957 to escape Russian invasion of Hungary. He survived a dangerous journey alone to escape across the border to Austria, leaving his family behind. This invitation helps tell the story of Julius' settlement in Australia and his involvement in the Victorian Hungarian Community.
Café Moszkva is a 1936 Adventure/History film directed by Steve Sekely, starring Gyula Csortos, Lajos Vértes, Anna Tõkés, József Juhász, and Nusi Somogyi.
