Summary
Model of Stanhill Flats, Queens Road, Albert Park, Victoria. Designed by Frederick Romberg and built between 1945-1950. Robin Boyd notes in "Australia's Home" that the Stanhill Flats were completed in 1950 (p 274).
The model was made by Marc Raszewski (of Norman Day Pty Ltd) in 1989. It was donated to Museums Victoria for the exhibition 'Home Sweet Home: Changes in Victorian Domestic Architecture, 1839-1989'.
Physical Description
Cardboard model on rectangular base, depicts a 10 storey high building constructed from reinforced concrete, steel and plate glass. Shops at ground level.
