Identity Card issued to Sandor Tokai, in Hungary in 1954. It includes various personal details and a black and white photograph. Sandor Tokai was born in Hungary in 1927, he escaped to Belgium after the 1956 Hungarian uprising. He remained in Belgium until 1974 when he migrated to Australia under the Belgium Assisted Passage Scheme.
Physical Description
Rectangular booklet consisting of a thin card cover and twelve pink coloured pages. The booklet is covered with a marooned coloured cloth and has gold lettering stamped on the front. The first page has a small black and white photograph of a man glued onto it. Inside is extensive text printed in black type, several purple ink stamps and handwritten text.
