Summary
Paper Photograph Folder used by Vincenzo Candela in his photographic business in Viggiano, Italy. He specialised in portraiture, landscape and village life, and had a well established client base. After his migration to Australia in 1920 Vincenzo continued to use his photographic equipment, more as a hobby than a trade, taking photos of family members and friends in his home, with impromptu backdrops such as a rug or a sheet.
Physical Description
Rectangular paper photograph holder, that opens out with two places to hold photos on the inside. On front is a picture of a girl in a striped dress sitting on a pillar marked Kodak Film. There is extensive text on the inside of the folder, regarding enlargements and developing and printing costs. On the back is a picture of a camera and an advertisement for a Graflex camera.
