Summary
Triangular swing tag of the distinct green and gold kangaroo logo which became a recognised marketing symbol indicating goods made in Australia.
The logo was designed by Melbourne graphic designer, Ken Cato and launched in 1986 by the then Prime Minister, Bob Hawke, as part of a campaign to assist consumers identify products made in Australia.
Physical Description
Triangular shaped swing tag with a stylised image of a kangaroo printed in a gold colour on a green background with a white border around the edges of the tag. 'Australian Made' is printed along the bottom of the sticker in green. Both sides of the swing tag are identical. There is a hole punched at the top of the swing tag.
