Summary
Architectural model of Woodley House, Keating Avenue, Sorrento, Victoria, built in 1971. Designed by the architectural firm Cocks and Carmichael for 'The Seekers' member Bruce Woodley, the house has a 360-degree outlook over dense foliage to Port Phillip Bay on one side and the ocean on the other.
The model was made in 1989 by Russell Asprey. It was donated to Museum Victoria for the exhibition 'Home Sweet Home : Changes in Victorian Domestic Architecture, 1839 - 1989'.
Physical Description
A two-storey timber house clad in vertical cedar boards. Large areas of sliding plate-glass and living decks on the first floor.
