Summary
"J" shaped metal hook. Used for moving feed and hay bedding when bulls or other stock had to stay several days at Newmarket Saleyards.
Physical Description
"J" shaped metal (steel/cast iron?) hook with sharp point. The hook was originally coated with mid-blue enamelled paint. Turned wood handle forms "T" grip. Evidence of excessive use, very worn.
